A few weeks ago, Eduard’s Tages- und Cocktailbar by Breuninger Munich opened on Sendlinger Straße. Fine food and drinks are offered here all day – from breakfast and lunch to after-work or after-dinner drinks. Even after closing time.

Homemade Food, Signature Drinks & Afterwork

The gastronomic concept in the stylish ambience impresses with creative drinks and fine snacks, which are prepared either by regional suppliers or by Breuninger itself. Such as the deliciously fluffy macarons from the in-house patisserie. Anyone who thought that Breuninger could only do fashion will be surprised and delighted. Gastronomy has been an integral part of the Stuttgart-based fashion and lifestyle company since the very beginning. A family tradition that I really like.

There is something for everyone on the extensive drinks and spirits menu with unique signature drinks, fancy mocktails and homemade spirits.

My new favorite aperitif at Eduard’s: the Golden Champagne. The mix of sweet, bitter and sparkling is perfect. The drink is prepared with Eduard Breuninger gin, lemon juice, elderflower syrup, orange bitters andNicolas Feuillatte Réserve Exclusive Brut champagne.

Snackification

Under this heading, the menu offers delicious snacks to accompany the drinks. Mediterranean tapas, dips or cheese and crusty organic farmhouse bread. Simple. Correct. Good.

I’m particularly looking forward to trying out the breakfast and lunch options soon. The map sounds promising. With the passionfruit bowl, the power bread with avocado and panko egg or the salmon tartare in a puff pastry tartelette, it’s the perfect meal. Breakfast or lunch date.

My event tip: Every Thursday the Eduard’s Afterwork from 5 to 11 pm. The drinks are accompanied by laid-back DJ beats and free finger food.
